In cooperation with local and foreign sponsors and also with local entrepreneurs Latvian orphans and students from large families receive scholarships for studies in the universities.

Support is rendered to several children’s homes, for instance, “Teika”, “Apīte” and “Imanta”.

A pilot project was organized for children with mental retardation on the grounds of Rudzāti special boarding-school in Preiļi region. This is the first project of such a type in Latvia. Social rehabilitation centres “Priedīte” in Daugavpils and “Mūsmājas” in Krāslava were opened.

Support is rendered also to foster families.
